1994 June 27th Seamanship and Navigation Class. Spent second day on 40+ foot twin screw vessal Third Stage doing practical ship handling class. Manuvering boat, forward, reverse, docking, twin screw manuvering. Man overboard drills.

Went out on the Third Stage to dive on city of richmond wreck.. abuot 20 miles out from murrels inlet
Saw 8 or 9 ft Sand Tiger shark when we got to bottom of anchor ine…. about 8 ft away, caught a highhat for shelleys aquarium. saw flounder approx 11", saw small octopus… tenticle lenght approx 4"
used genises 80 tank start pressure 3300lbs finish 1000lbs
Dive time 40 min vis 30 ft surface and bottom temp 81 air temp 90 max depth 50ft dive buddy shelley this was dive #8 total water hours 5.20 hours
